Founded With Love

In 1958, Foster and Nancy Poole founded the Sample House on Routh Street in Dallas, Texas. Over sixty years and seven stores larger in the greater Dallas area, their whole family is involved in the business. Foster’s unique vision and charm is still incorporated into every part of our company. We hope our customers are as relaxed and at home today as they were over 60 years ago!
